Facades

Add – add a new design to the BuildR facade library.

Dropdown – select the facade you want to edit by name.

Delete – delete the selected facade from the library.

Name – the name you give to the selected facade.

Facade Design Type (Simple/Patterned) – Specify whether the facade design has a simple repeating layout, or a patterned

Facade Has Bays – specify if the facade has opening bays.

Opening Width – the width of a window.

Opening Height – the height of a window.
Min. Spacing – the minimum spacing allowed between windows.

Horizontal Space Ratio – the horizontal position of the opening specified as a fraction from left to right of the allowable bay space.

Vertical Space Ratio – the vertical position of the opening specified as a fraction from bottom to top of the allowable facade space.
Window Depth – the depth of the window into the building.
Column Depth – the depth of the walls adjacent horizontally to the windows into the building.
Row Depth – the depth of the walls adjacent vertically to the windows into the building.
Cross Depth – the depth of the walls connecting column and row walls into the building.
Surface Dropdown – select the type of facade surface you would like to change the texture for.
Texture Dropdown – select the texture you would like to use on the selected facade surface.
Flip 90° – toggle flipping the texture 90 degrees for the selected facade surface.

Patterned GUI

Add New Bay Design – Add a new bay design to the library.

Add Selected Bay Design – adds a bay design from the library specified by the drop down to the right.

Bay Design Order – the order that the bays appear in the facade is represented here. You can select the bay you want to edit.

Arrows (<< / >>) – These arrows move the selected bay design to the left/right in the pattern.

Remove – this removes the bay design from the facade design.

Delete – this deletes the bay design from the library.

Name – the name of the bay design.

Has Opening – specifies if this bay is actually an opening or a section of plain wall.

Opening Width – the width of the bay opening.

Opening Height – the height of the bay opening.

Horizontal Space Ratio – the horizontal position of the opening specified as a fraction from left to right of the allowable bay space.

Vertical Space Ratio – the vertical position of the opening specified as a fraction from bottom to top of the allowable facade space.
Window Depth – the depth of the window into the building.
